Tutorial: How To Download
We are using the PS2 Repair Guide Ebook
as the example in this tutorial. Your Ebook file name will be different.

Downloading is the process of copying a file (such as the PS2 Repair
Guide) from one computer to another across the internet. When you
download your ebook from our web site, it means you are copying
it from our web server to your own computer. This allows you to
install and use the book on your own machine.
You have 4 attempts to download before your link expires. Please
read carefully and ask questions if you are having trouble and cannot
get it after 1 or 2 times.
Here's how to download a file using Internet Explorer and Windows
XP. If you're using a different browser such as Netscape Navigator
or a different version of Windows, your screens may look a little
different, but the same basic steps should work.
Once you've ordered your ebook and received the download links,
just click on the link. If you've received the link via email, you
may either click on the link if your email program highlights it
for you; otherwise, just copy and paste the link into your web browser.
You may also goto www.powerfulguides.com/portal/download.php
and login using the email address used to make the purchase through
You may be asked if you want to save the file or run it from its
current location. If you are asked this question, select "Save."
If not, don't worry -- some browsers will automatically choose "Save"
You will then be asked to select the folder where you want
to save the program or file, using a standard "Save As"
dialog box. Pay attention
to which folder you select before clicking the "Save" button. I
always suggest saving it to your DESKTOP to start with so it will
be easy to find. To do this click on the DESKTOP icon in the left
hand column, or use the drop down menu (if you have one)
at the top of the "Save As" box to select "Desktop"
The download will now begin. Your web browser will keep you updated
on the progress of the download by showing a progress bar that fills
up as you download. You will also be reminded where you're saving
Note: You may also see a check box labeled "Close this dialog
box when download completes." If you see this check box, it helps
to check this box. You don't have to, but
if you do, the download box will close automatically after completion.
Depending on how fast your connection is, it may take anywhere
from a few seconds to a few minutes to download. When your download
is finished, if you left that "Close this dialog box when download
completes" option unchecked, you'll see a dialog box like this one:
Now click the "Close" button if the box did not automatically close
after the download was complete. Got your PC desktop and you should
see the file there. Please follow the steps on the
FAQ (click here)page
to open and read the ebook.
